On March 3(Beijing time ),with the strong support of Harbin Customs, Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Transportation, Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Commerce (bureau), Airport Group and other departments, an Airbus 350-900 aircraft loaded with 16 cross-border e-commerce goods successfully arrived at Vancouver Airport, Canada.

The flight, operated by Umex Air Cargo (Harbin) Co., LTD., took off from Harbin Taiping International Airport at 20:05(Beijing time) on March 2 and finally arrived in Vancouver.With a maximum capacity of 40 tons, the charter can ship three times a week and 120 times a year to meet the transportation needs of various types of goods under different trade modes.

The 13th Party Congress of Heilongjiang Province proposed to accelerate the construction of Harbin international air cargo hub and international logistics distribution hub, and build a three-dimensional open system based on Northeast Asia, connecting Russia, expanding Southeast Asia, and radiating Europe, America and Africa.The opening of cargo charter flights from Harbin to Vancouver is an important part of the construction of Harbin international trade channel, which is expected to provide about 3,500 tons of air capacity for foreign trade enterprises throughout the year, and is of great significance to promote the construction of Harbin international aviation hub.
